Financial Aid
The Berkeley School takes pride in providing a strong financial aid program to our families. Within the constraints of our budget, we are committed to providing access to qualified students regardless of their family’s financial situation. Financial aid is intended as a supplement to family resources, and is provided to families who have demonstrated financial need.
Financial aid decisions are made independently of admissions decisions and do not affect an applicant’s opportunity for enrollment. For information on our tuition for the current year, this page has the information you need: 2011-2012 tuition and fees.
The first day to apply for financial aid with SSS (School and Student Services) is November 1, 2011. For more information about financial aid, the School and Student Services site for families, run by the National Association of Independent Schools, may be helpful.
PLEASE NOTE: We invite you to attend one of the workshops to learn more about the role of technology in the 2012-2013 application process and to have an opportunity to ask questions about the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS.)
Financial Aid Workshops for 2012-2013 (all held at 1310 University Avenue):
- Monday, November 21, 2011, 6:00-7:00 pm (current/returning TBS families only)
- Wednesday, January 11, 2012, 5:00-6:00 pm (current TBS families and prospective families in the admissions application process)
