I am letting you know we will be accompanying 8th grade students to Out of the Closet thrift store. next Tuesday, March 4th so they can gather material and begin working on their projects.
If this trip is of any concern to you or you wish to opt your student out please email me as soon as it is possible, otherwise please fill out the permission form I will send home with your students and return them by Monday next week.

Good Work (Homework Club)
This is an optional, drop-in time for students to work on assignments, get help from teachers, and bolster study skills. Sessions will be run by Stephen Cahill (SEL/Health Specialist); Jen Tilson (MS Learning Specialist/Executive Function Coach); and Julia Shields (4th-6th Learning Specialist). Good Work takes place on Mondays and Thursdays, after school from 3:35 PM to 5:00 PM.

Snacks are provided. Snack time is in the Outdoor Classroom from 3:35-3:45 PM.

Work time is in the Map Room from 3:45 PM - 5:00 PM.

Students do not need to stay for the entire time, and can be picked up earlier if needed. Students who finish work early may choose to stay in Good Work and work on other quiet activities, or join ExDay.

Additionally, Good Work will also be held during the school day, weekly on Wednesdays during recess (12:40-1:10).
