The Pick-a-Party program at TBS offers a dizzying variety of fun events to bring folks together throughout the school year, all hosted by members of the school community. Haunted House: Camp Killjoy
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2:00 – 4:00PM
Celebrate your last Halloween with a visit to Killjoy Campground…if you dare! Venture into the deep, dark woods to your campsite, but tread carefully–hellish beasts and fiends lurk within, waiting to waylay you. In the unlikely event that you make it out, dine on eyeballs, witch fingers, skulls and other delicacies while sipping Putrid Punch. Costumes are welcome to enhance the experience, but not required. AGES: Appropriate for grades 4 and up (gory and noisy elements). 4th-5th graders must attend w/parenting adult. ALLERGIES/SAFETY: Strobe lights may be in use. If you attended our Haunted House last year, please know that this an entirely new theme and experience. Some favorite spooky foods and beverages will return, but we have several new ghoulish dishes to share.

TBS’s own invite you to a house concert featuring the soulful music of Owen Roberts (K-8 music teacher and ECC dad), and Mike Sinclaire (Cerrito 4/5 teacher and UAC dad) and his band Transit of Venus. Two sets, gourmet food, in Mike & Leila Sinclaire’s beautiful North Berkeley garden. Adults and children ages 6 and older welcome.

Have you ever seen a 70′ robot? What machine of Elon Musk’s generates seismic force? See the Kuka Robots make sparks fly as humans work alongside machines in Tesla’s Factory. With a vertical integration model that sets the bar in the auto industry, you will be one of the first few to see the Tesla Model 3 being made. Chat with TBS Tesla Dad Ed Sinek and sip on Tesla bean blend in the showroom before this is unique opportunity for a 1-hour tour through the factory floor and around the compound. Tour maximum: 4 guests.
